This is my Voice

This is my Voice was part funded through the Visual Artists & Craft Makers Award (VACMA) and produced by film-maker Sarah Mason in 2021. Some words from Sarah below:

“It becomes more than just a picture”. As I was recording Pascale’s voiceover for this film, this line really stuck with me.

Pascale doesn’t just observe the nature and landscape around her, she becomes part of it. Watching her paint is utterly immersive. It’s like a dance, and all her materials around her play their part.

I’m so lucky to have one of the paintings featured in the film hanging in my lounge. It’s a symphony of light, colour and movement, and holds all those memories of making the film together.
